USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor (Oahu, Hawaii)
At approximately 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japan, bringing the US into WW2. Now a National Park, you can visit and see the remains underwater, still leaking oil even today.

Visiting the site requires a ticket which you should get in advance if possible as the site can only take a limited number of people a day because of its size.
There is a museum there with info about the attack and the war, and then you ride a boat to the memorial which is over the remains.
