Alaska – what to do? So many options
Alaska is the largest state, and while much of it is uninhabited, it has a lot of activities to interest anyone. At least during the summer :-).
I’ve been on two cruises to Alaska and done a train tour on land, and there is always something new to see and do. And since in the summer the sun shines nearly all day, you have plenty of time to see a lot.
If you are going on a cruise to Alaska, as many people who visit Alaska are, you will often only really be able to do some excursions from the boat.
At each port, you can choose if you want to do active excursions (like dog sledding or dog sledding training), or artistic pursuits (like glass-blowing). Either of those are available in Skagway. Other options are in Ketchikan.
You can show your courage by drinking the sour-toe cocktail.
