Traveling through time

When you travel, you often hear dates that things were built, or discovered (re-discovered), or invented. And sometimes those dates challenge what you know already. For example, did you know that the Pyramids existed at the same time as the wooly mammoth? Or that the Spanish were already in the “American Southwest” when the Pilgrims came to “America”? Or that the Eiffel Tower was completed at about the same time as Van Gogh’s Starry Night?

Curiosity recently had an article all about this that is a fun read. So look out for these odd timings when you travel and get a bigger picture about how things progressed in different parts of the world
