Stepping Stone Cafe (Cartagena); helping the locals while eating great food
The Stepping Stone Cafe is in the Matuna area of Cartagena, just two blocks from Centennial Park. It is a wonderful institution founded by 3 Australians that is helping disadvantaged youth get jobs, improve their confidence, and learn skills so they can get better employment in the future. They have a short-term internship that is paid over minimum wage and includes English lessons. The Stepping Stone Cafe is a stepping stone for them to a better future.
