Non-travel related products I like and recommend
People often ask me about products I recommend. I’m going to put many here so I don’t have to keep looking them up. I will add to this as I think of other things I have researched a lot and love. Note: As an Amazon associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
SMOOTHIE STUFF
These are great in smoothies. Put some instant coffee, a teaspoon of one or both of these, milk/water type you prefer, ice and vanilla protein powder (my fave is below – although it is often cheaper other places, you can check amazon). I like the vanilla ice cream flavor as it goes with everything (chocolate, peanut butter, fruits). Great morning smoothie. Skip the chocolate and use peanut better instead if desired. Lots of options with the vanilla flavor base.
If you want to feel full longer add some fiber to your smoothies too. Benefiber is available nearly everywhere.
And to blend it all together with little fuss? I’ve got a Vitamix, an Osterizer, and a Magic Bullet. I’ve found the Magic Bullet (with Ice Crusher blade) to be the best for smoothie making and easy cleaning.

CAT STUFF
This is the most popular cat toy (on a continuing basis, with multiple cats, that I’ve ever owned, I now get one delivered at least every month as they are destroyed quickly.
KITCHEN STUFF
This is the easiest to clean and read (lighted display) scale, with the most weighing options I’ve ever found.
And these two items are extremely helpful for avocados and slicing mushrooms, eggs or strawberries quickly and evenly.
HEALTH AND FITNESS
This is the newer version of the exercise bike I love. It’s affordable (around $150 normally). It’s nearly silent (and I don’t just mean quiet, it’s just a whisper or light fan sound) so you can watch tv while you ride. There are 2 versions, the one I bought :

GAMES
I adore my Oculus Quest, but definitely get these if you want to use it a lot. note: only these batteries and this charger go together, so label them. The 4 pack means 2 are always charged. They just stop working rather than go low voltage for a while so they are great for the controllers.
Some people make Frankenstraps (google it) to have a more comfortable fit. First, make sure the back bottom strap is low on the back of your head. You can also add a counterbalance there if you want. Also, you can try getting one of these to put more o the weight on top of your head than the back.
I found with those two things, my Oculus Quest is quite comfortable.
