Ourika Valley’s beauty (Morocco)

Outside of Marrakech is a great attraction — the Ourika Valley with many waterfalls.
Many trips are available (on TripAdvisor, etc) that will take you to the valley and on a short (but steep) trek to the waterfalls
(The seller here is keeping the fruit cold by keeping it in the cold river water. No refrigeration needed.)

There is a trail from the river at the bottom, past other waterfalls, up steep rock faces, to the final waterfalls near the top.  It is very steep in several places. Make sure to have a water bottle with you.
 
The cold water in the river is very refreshing in the intense heat.

At the bottom by the river, you can sit with your feet in the cold river and have a bite to eat.
 
 
 
 
 
Or, if you are more adventurous, you can take the climb to see the waterfalls.
