Kotor – fortified port in Montenegro (UNESCO)
Kotor (pronounced co-tour) is a small ancient fortified port in what is now Montenegro. It was originally a Roman city nearly 2000 years ago and is now included in the Kotor area UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Surrounded by stone walls with entrance portals, the small town includes an old cathedral.
And many picturesque views.
