The UNESCO village of Valletta (Malta)
Valletta is the capital of Malta, and interestingly, the entire city is a UNESCO site as well. With forts, old palatial buildings, and many remains from the Knights of St John, a history buff will be occupied for days in this small open-air museum city. In addition to all the historical attractions, there are ample people-watching and dining options to keep non-history buffs occupied. Here are some pictures from around town.
