Humorous mistakes
When you are on a trip, sometimes there are funny mistakes around you.
On one Caribbean cruise, we read the daily papers, and were sometimes entertained by mistakes that had been made. Here are a couple:
Have upset gemstones? We can help.
We’re out at sea, but just in case you are planning to leave it’s a 30 mile swim to land. But have at it.
And of course, there are always translation fails to keep you entertained:
excrusion – An excursion that is very painful, or excruciating. (Urban Dictionary)
This one really surprised me because it’s hard to imagine they have to edit the text on that paragraph much, so it’s probably been there a while.
