Cuba is farther away now, but worth it
I’m so glad I went to Cuba a couple years ago, as it seems to be even more shut off by the US now. You can still go if you get permission and do educational and cultural things while you are there, but they are making it more difficult than it was.
If you get a chance, I recommend visiting, as if it does ever completely open to the U.S. it will change quickly in very noticable ways. It is just a short flight from Florida, and has many attractions for tourists to see. You can use the search option for more articles about Cuba, but here are 3:
