China’s Forbidden City – Hall of Clocks
Beijing’s Forbidden City is not only an historically important reminder of China’s Empire days, but also houses museums now. One of the museums is a museum of clocks. There are clocks of all types, from huge timepieces that you’d need a very high ceiling to own, to small finely-detailed works of art. Some are still running, and at certain times of the day, they wind them and let them go. If you can, be there then.
