Angkor Wat archeological area
Over three days, I went to all the major and most of the minor archeological sites in the Siem Reap area. My favorites were Bantaey Srei, Beng Malea, Bayon, and Preah Kahn. But it was all wonderful.
It’s amazing to ponder what this civilization would have looked like. You can see the ruins, you can see the parts they’ve reassembled, but you can only imagine there being so much more there than there is.
