Eat in a treehouse – Bali
When planning our trip to Bali, my friend and I looked for unusual and tasty foods to try. We found out there was a treehouse restaurant and it went right onto our list. So off to Pirate Bay we went, looking for lunch in a tree.
There are multiple levels to the treehouses, and there are also tables on the ground if you don’t like heights. The menu has a lot of seafood options which was our preference. It had many local specialities as well as some items probably specifically for travelers. We decided to try the red snapper, cay say, and some seafood soup. The snapper was quite spicy and was served whole which we didn’t expect.
The ants do, of course, find you even in a tree. But at least there was a bit of a breeze a bit off the ground.
