Cute animals: Koalas, wallabies, and more (Brisbane, Australia)
If you are in Brisbane, I recommend a stop at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. There are over 100 koalas there, and you can see quite a few of them, generally sleeping in their trees or eating eucalyptus.
The park also has areas where you can walk around with, and in some cases feed, the animals (like the wallabies and the kangaroos).
There are also shows with raptors (who don’t always come on command), koalas, and some of the other animals at the park.
Finally, there are rare animals on display, like these Tasmanian devils.
And in a nice added value feature, there is free wifi throughout the park, which we definitely took advantage of, having just gotten off our flight from the USA.
Happy travels!
