Interesting caves around the world
Caves are fun. And there are so many around the world to explore.
Here are just a few of the fun places with caves.
- Seeing glow-worms in a cave while tubing! This is really a fun adventure. You can do it in Waitomo in New Zeeland.
- Zip-line in a cave. There are a couple of places you can do this, but one of the most extensive is in Kentucky. Check it out.
- Shop, sleep, live in a cave. There are 2 main places you can do this. One is Coober-Pedy (Australia) because the area is so hot, and another is Capadoccia (Turkey) because it’s been going on for centuries.
- Learn about societies by what they left in caves. Around the world, from Mexico to France, we can learn about the societies that used to flourish y looking at the local caves. One example is in the Dominican Rebublic.
