St Peter’s Church’s jeweled saint skeleton and more (Munich, Germany)
St. Peter’s Church is just off Marienplatz square with its famous Glockenspiel.
The church is beautiful inside as one would expect, but it has one particularly unusual attraction – a glass coffin with the skeleton of Saint Munditia, covered in jewels and with colored glass eyes. The container in her hands supposedly holds dried blood from when she was martyred by beheading.
